We call these recycled vases, however the correct phrase would be re-used vases as the glass is not melted or reheated as occurs in traditional glass recycling.

The process of cutting and polishing the glass requires minimal energy, up to 90% less than recycling the glass, making the whole production process very energy efficient.

The Champagne Vases are made by Andy, our glassmaker friend.

Andy collects the Champagne bottles from various bars and restaurants in the West End of London.
He then transfers them to his workshop In East London where they are cut, polished and transformed by hand into vases.
