The belts are all made using recycled juice cartons popular in the Philippines.

The juice cartons are collected by a co-operative who then sort and wash the empty drinks packs before transforming them into an array of bags and accessories such as these belts.

The recycled belts are made by a women's co-operative of over 500 workers based near Manila in The Philippines.

In addition to providing fair wages and working conditions in an area of high unemployment, the cooperative also promotes the importance of education for members' children and provides a scholarship fund to make this possible.
