Standard delivery of goods
ECOutlet delivers to the UK and EU addresses only. You may place an order outside this area however we will only be able to deliver goods to UK and EU postal addresses.
We use Royal Mail 2nd class post and Tracked Mail Service for delivery of goods. We do not charge a standard delivery charge. Postage costs vary based on the amount you order and the weight of the order. We aim to provide the cheapest delivery method for weight of goods you purchase.
Royal Mail 2nd Class Post and Tracked Mail services takes 2-3 working days on average for delivery of goods. Due to the nature of some goods we are required to use a courier for delivery of certain items. Courier packages generally take 48 hours for delivery.
For delivery outside the UK we use Royal Mail and DHL courier services. Delivery to EU addresses generally takes 4-5 working days.
Once an order is placed on the website, we will send a confirmation email once dispatch has occurred with specific details relating to the order. Where applicable we will provide tracking details so customers can follow the progress of the delivery.
Some of the bulkier goods we offer are also shipped directly from the supplier. These include the Rainmate water butt, Bath and Shower Saver, Bokashi Bucket and the range of children’s Paperpod cardboard toys. All of these items have a fixed delivery cost and are only available for delivery to UK addresses.

If you place an order for a number of items, we will wait until the entire order is in stock before postage. If this looks like it might delay the order we will be in touch to check how you would like us to proceed.
For customers who are normally out during the day, you can specify a different delivery address when you place the order. Unfortunately we are unable to provide exact delivery times as this in the hands of Royal Mail or the courier company.
Please note if you choose to have your products delivered to an address different to your billing address, we may contact you in order to verify your details. This is a safety measure to ensure your card and personal details are not being used fraudulently.
At ECOutlet we aim to keep the amount of waste we produce to a minimum and to use recycled materials wherever possible. We use Jiffy padded envelopes with a minimum 75% recycled content. Our postal cardboard boxes have recycled content and can be recycled. We also use biodegradable void fill wherever possible over bubble wrap.
When we do use bubble wrap, we either re-use either bubble wrap sent to us by our suppliers or your item will be wrapped in biodegradable bubble wrap which is green in colour. With every order we include a note detailing the types of packaging used so customers can then choose to recycle or re-use where possible. In addition we aim to re-use packaging sent to us whenever we can and encourage customers to re-use envelopes, packaging and bubble wrap they may receive from us. Blank labels are provided with every order for this purpose.
Returns and Refunds
We hope to provide you with quality reliable products and 100% customer satisfaction. If for any reason you are not happy with your goods and wish to seek a refund please get in touch. Once we are aware of the problem then we may offer to exchange the goods or refund your costs. All returned goods must be unused and in a saleable condition. Returns must also arrive in their original packaging.

Not happy with your product?
You may return an item if you do not like it or have decided you do not require it. If this occurs you must pay the postage costs. You can return any item with 14 days of receipt for a replacement or full refund.
Faulty or damaged goods?
If the goods are faulty or damaged please contact us within 48 hours of receipt. You may return the item to us with a note explaining the problem which will help us to ensure it does not re-occur. Please include your contact details and order number and if possible include the original invoice. Returns must also arrive in their original packaging. We will then arrange to credit the card you made the purchase with or replace the item depending on your wishes. If the item is faulty we will cover second class postage costs for returns.

Please retain a proof of posting certificate from the Post Office in the unlikely event of your returns not reaching us. We cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit. You may decide to return goods by registered post, however please note we cannot refund this additional charge if we have agreed to pay postage costs.
Any agreed refund will be made on the card on which you made the purchase. Any refunds will be made within 30 days of cancellation.
