Soapods Organic Laundry Soap Nuts
The natural way to wash your clothes! Soapods laundry soap nuts are the pods (or nut shells) from the soapnut tree - a natural, organic cleaning product which comes from an entirely renewable source that grows in tropical climates.
The soapnut tree is a large deciduous tree with fleshy fruit like a berry. The skin of the berry (the soapnut) contains 12-15% saponin which is similar to soap and is the active natural cleaning agent in soapods.
Soapods are natural, organic cleaning and are ideal for sensitive skin. They are extremely easy to use and come with a small sack that you simply fill with 6-8 pods and place in your washing machine along with your dirty clothes.
At a low energy setting of 30/40 degrees the sack containing 6-8 soapods will last for 3 washes. Washing at 60 degrees will yield a usage of 2 washes and 90 degrees, 1 wash. As the soapods are completely natural you don't have to rinse them out as much, so you can also use a shorter rinse cycle if available.
Washing with soapods, your laundry will smell completely neutral. If however if you prefer fragrance, a few drops of essential oil or fabric softener can be added to the wash.
Each 190g pack of soapods will last for approximately 25 washes which is a considerable saving compared with conventional washing powders.
